South Sun founder Dave Rapp has been an artist his entire life, a contractor since 1973 and a Tucsonan since 1979.

With a B.A. from San Jose State, Dave established South Sun in 1980 with a mission to bring his unique vision of artistic innovation to life throughout southern Arizona. A rarity in the custom home building industry. Dave not only builds homes. He designs the homes he builds. South Sun is a member of the Southern Arizona Builders Association.
